Fashion Show Features Looks Inspired by Wish Kids

Fashion-savvy Make-A-Wish supporters are invited to come together as professional models wear stylish denim designs inspired by wish children and cutting-edge stylists at Akira Chicago at a raised runway fashion show to celebrate the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois' Jeans For Wishes campaign. Emceed by Showbiz Shelly from B96 fm, and featuring runway beats by two-time Lollapalooza performer, Dani Deahl, the evening includes a two-hour cocktail reception, passed appetizers and silent auction in addition to the runway show.                      Wish Child Sissy being interviewd at Akira

The event will take place at Moe's Cantina in River North (155 W. Kinzie St., Chicago) on Monday, May 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.; the runway show begins at 7:30 p.m. The Jeans For Wishes Fashion Show is sponsored by Akira Chicago, Moe's Cantina River North and 4 Rebels Premium Vodkas. Wish Children Daria, 14, from Roselle, Sissy, 18, from Waukegan, and Maeve, 16, from Chicago helped to inspire designs to be showcased.
