How to Refer a Child
Out of respect for the children and families we serve, and out of concern for their privacy, children who may be eligible to receive a wish can be referred by one of the following people:
- the child
- the child's parent, legal guardian,
- a physician, nurse, social worker or child-life specialist.
Medical eligibility is based on national guidelines and is ultimately determined by the child's physician.
More than 70% of wishes granted are travel related. Frequent Flier Miles are always needed to help grant these wishes.
